So while I was at work, we lost power due to wind. That means heat lamps were off. That means my boy was not doing ok. But luckily, my roommate cranked up the heat when he got home and cuddled pagoda until he was ok again! If he wasn’t there, I’m not sure what would’ve happened.
Lizards like bearded dragons cannot product their own heat.

The little boy just got a claw trim using human nail clippers! Remember, don’t clip too far or you’ll cut their skin. Just the pointy parts! Check the internet for visuals on where the nail ends so you don’t make a mistake. I tried using an emery filing board, but I just wasn’t making any progress. The clippers are faster and more effective.

I had a dream last night where other herps kept randomly showing up in my tokay tanks… I had to pull three other tokays and several toads out of dewey’s tank and it stressed me out because I didn’t have anywhere to put them. it was so weird
dreams like this haunt me forever
I have nightmares where I’ve suddenly acquired dozens of lizards and I forget that I have them and they slowly wither and die and I walk in and find them all and cry my eyes out. IT’S THE WORST
I had a dream where I found lots of lizards too and I was rushing to get them under my only heat lamp so they wouldn’t get sick. Maybe this is a common thing that reptile owners experience? Or people who spend a lot of time around reptiles?
