Pagoda is a bearded dragon, or pogona vitticeps. I’m fairly certain he is male. I bought him at Petsmart after several months of research and preparation. The reason I bought him at Petsmart was because it was the only pet store that sold their bearded dragons on carpet instead of sand, and buying one online was not a feasible option for me at the time.
He is between 2 to 3 months at the time of this post. He’s about a foot long now, from nose to tail, although half his length is his tail.
He eats collard greens with a dash of sweet peppers, grapes, and apples. His salad is dusted with calcium. He also eats Dubai roaches- about 5 every other day.
His tank has a heating light and a uva/uvb light (more specifics coming soon).
He spends most of his time camping under the heating light, but he is very curious.
He poops every other day, occasionally every day. When he does, I usually give him a warm soak in the bathtub. The water is up to chest height. He’s not necessarily that dirty when he goes, but it’s good to keep him clean.
I’ll add this stuff to the FAQ when I get a chance so it doesn’t clog the dashboard.
